These are the rules for using The Embroidery Cloud. By creating an account or buying a course, you're agreeing to them.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
This platform is run by The Embroidery Cloud Limited, a company registered in Nigeria. Where these terms say "we" or "us", that's us. Where they say "you", that's you, the person using the platform.
You need an account to buy or take a course. When you create one:
Tell us straight away at hello@theembroiderycloud.com if you think someone else has got into your account.
Course prices are shown on the site before you pay. We take payment through Flutterwave and Paystack. Once your payment goes through, you get access to the course straight away.
Access is for one person: you. Course access doesn't expire unless we say otherwise at the point of sale.
We can change our prices whenever we like, but a change never affects a course you've already bought.
You can ask for a refund within 7 days of buying, as long as you haven't completed more than 20% of the course. The full detail is in our Refund Policy.
The courses, videos, designs, and written material on this platform belong to us or to the people we license them from. Buying a course gives you permission to watch it and learn from it. It doesn't transfer ownership.
You must not:
What you learn is yours. Use the skills freely in your own business. That's the whole point. It's the material itself you can't redistribute.
Pass a course assessment and we'll issue you a certificate. It records that you completed our course. It isn't a government or academic qualification, and we don't claim it is.
We can withdraw a certificate if we find it was obtained dishonestly.
Don't use the platform to:
We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close your account for a serious breach, you won't get a refund.
We work to keep the platform up, but we can't promise it will never go down. We might need to take it offline for maintenance, and things outside our control can break. We can also change or retire features over time.
We've built these courses from real experience, and we teach what has worked for us. But we can't promise you any particular business result. What you get out of it depends on your own work, your market, and plenty of things neither of us controls.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect losses. If we are found liable for something, our total liability to you won't exceed what you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that can't legally be excluded.
You can close your account whenever you want. Just email us. Closing it doesn't automatically entitle you to a refund. That's covered by the Refund Policy.
We may update these terms as the business changes. We'll update the date at the top, and if the change is significant we'll email you. Carrying on using the platform after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes fall to the Nigerian courts.
If something's gone wrong, please email us first at hello@theembroiderycloud.com. We'd much rather sort it out directly.
