The story
The Embroidery Cloud was not founded in a tech incubator. It began in a tailor shop, with a first embroidery machine, a first client, and the realisation that there was no roadmap for any of it.
Pricing decisions were guesswork. Production management was chaotic. Finding skilled digitizers was nearly impossible. Getting trained in the business side of embroidery? Forget it.
Over 15 years, those struggles became expertise. We scaled from a one-person operation to a full production studio. We learned what works, what doesn't, and why.
In 2020, we began sharing that knowledge — and the response confirmed what we suspected: embroidery professionals everywhere were dealing with the same problems, and no one had built the right tools to solve them.
In 2024, The Embroidery Cloud launched. Not as a content creator's side project. As a technology company, built to become the operating system for the embroidery industry.
