The Embroidery Cloud exists because we hit every problem it solves ourselves. Not as consultants. Not as technologists. On the machines, on real orders, since 2009.
Mission
To make embroidery solutions accessible to everyone.
Vision
To become the operating system for embroidery businesses.
Purpose
To impact people and businesses through real embroidery solutions.
The story
This didn't begin in a tech incubator. It began in 2009, in my dad's tailor shop, on a manual 20U Phoenix. I was just the one who wanted to know how the machine worked.
I started learning computerized embroidery the year after. Then came the part nobody puts on a website. Nearly ten years of taking whatever work I could get. Contract jobs. Overtime. Night shifts on other people's machines, because I couldn't afford one of my own.
That's where I actually learned this trade. Not in a classroom. On somebody else's machine, at night, on real orders where a mistake cost a real person money.
In 2019 I bought my first two-head machine and started running my own embroidery business properly. By then I knew what nobody had been willing to tell me. Pricing was guesswork. Production was chaos. Finding a digitizer you could trust was almost impossible. And there was no training worth the name, not for the craft and certainly not for the business.
In 2020 I started teaching what I'd worked out. The response told me what I already suspected. Embroidery people everywhere were stuck on the same things, and nobody had built anything to fix it.
The Embroidery Cloud launched in 2024. Not as a side project. As the thing I needed in 2010 and couldn't find anywhere.
