Cookie Policy

Short version: we only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. No ad tracking, no analytics, nothing following you around the internet.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. It's how a site remembers things between page loads, like the fact that you're logged in.

What we actually use

Only essential cookies. These are set by Supabase, our authentication provider, and they do one job:

  • Session cookies. These keep you signed in as you move around your dashboard. Without them you'd be logged out on every single page.

That's the lot. They're strictly necessary for the site to work, which is why we don't show you a cookie banner asking permission. The law doesn't require consent for cookies that are essential to deliver a service you asked for.

What we don't use

We want to be specific about this, because most sites do the opposite:

  • No Google Analytics or any other analytics tracking.
  • No Facebook Pixel or advertising cookies.
  • No third-party trackers building a profile of you.
  • No cookies sold or shared with advertisers.

Turning them off

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Be aware that if you block ours, you won't be able to stay signed in, so the Academy won't work. Browsing the public parts of the site will still be fine.

Email tracking

Separate from cookies: when we email you, we can see whether it was delivered, opened, or clicked. This is handled through Amazon SES. We use it to check our emails are actually arriving and to see which ones are useful. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any of them.
